Passionate about cooking, Chef Jason Kacprzak already has almost 20 years of experience behind the stoves. Bishop’s University alumni with a bachelors in physics where he had the possibility to pursue his studies in mechanical engineering, he chose to put this on hold and follow his dream of opening his own restaurant. Having no official training in the culinary arts, Chef Jason Kacprzak worked his way up the ladder the old fashion way. Born in Bromont, Québec, of Polish descendance, he decided to launch his career in the wonderful city of Sherbrooke. It is with pride and joy that Chef Jason Kacprzak offers you his restaurant, Bistro Kapzak, home cooking with a modern European flare.
As you walk through the doors of Bistro Kapzak, you can feel how much love and warmth that Chef/owner Jason Kacprzak and all his staff have to offer. With its rustic decor, you will find yourself at ease wether you are with your loved ones, friends, or even colleagues. With the coming of each season and the arrival of the new seasonal flavors, the chef allows himself to be influenced by the local produce around him to create the new menus. We are proud to provide, to our patrons, authentic and high quality home-made meals with a particular attention to transforming all the ingredients in house. By doing this, it allows us to offer healthy and fresh food; most of our meals are even allergen and gluten-free! We have in hand micro-brewed Québec beers, as well as a wine card with solely private imports. This approach is the concept of Bistro Kapzak, come and taste the difference.
